Upon the successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
- Complete a thorough review of the following: patient care, safety, image production, and procedures.
- State the content specifications of the ARRT Certification examination.
- Explain the testing format used by the ARRT.
- Discuss the importance of the ARRT exam and professional certification.
- Discuss basic test preparation and test taking strategies.
- Pass a timed mock registry exam with a score of 80%.
- Assess student ARRT content category strengths and weaknesses in preparation for the ARRT exam.
Assessment and Requirements
Assessment of academic achievement will include a combination of tests, quizzes, assignments, presentations and participation.
Students must pass the exit exam given in this course with an 80% before they will be allowed to graduate from the radiographer program.
