Course Description

This course is a survey of computer, information and digital technology. Covers computer hardware, networks, operating systems, file management, and common productivity software, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Professional email, computer security, privacy, netiquette, ethics, and social media practices are examined. An introduction to artificial intelligence and its application to various fields is also covered. This course satisfies the HFC's General Education Computer Technology requirement.
