Course Description
Intended for English Language Learners (ELLs) whose placement scores indicate the need for instruction or review in order for them to write acceptable college compositions in ENG-131, or for ELLs who have successfully completed ELI-106W. Various methods such as lectures, group discussions, textbook exercises, peer review and conferences will be used to help students improve their expository writing skills. Students must earn a grade of C or higher before enrolling in ENG-131.
