Course Description

The second of two intermediate-level Modern Standard Arabic courses focusing on communication in a cultural context. Students further develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Modern Standard Arabic, expand their vocabulary, and deepen their knowledge of pronunciation and grammatical principles in order to comprehend and express a wide range of ideas in both spoken and written Modern Standard Arabic.

Pre-requisites
C or better in ARA-231 or in three years of high school Arabic, or Instructor Permission (Note: a "C-" grade is not transferable and is not accepted by some programs at HFC.)
