Introduces various elements of industrial communications using PLCs. Addresses common types of control communications in an industrial environment. Includes discussion of PLC addressing used in communications.

Goal Statement

To provide students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of PLC Communciation, utilizing digital learning materials and hands-on labs.

Upon successful completion of this course, student should be able to:
1. List common types of data communications and their characteristics.
