Catalog Course Description

For operators, technicians, engineers, or programmers. Examines how to master the preventive maintenance techniques required for a robot and its backup systems.

Goals, Topics, and Objectives

Goal Statement

To provide students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Robot Maintenance and PM, utilizing digital learning materials and hands-on labs.

Core Course Learning Objectives (Separated)

Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. Execute the required tasks for robot backup system while saving and restoring programs files.
2. Demonstrate the ability to generate new master count numbers and re-master a robot when original mastering count numbers have been lost.*
3. Back-up systems and replace backup batteries on robotics equipment.
4. Perform recommended preventive maintenance lubrication procedures of all required robot components and the End Of Arm Tooling (EOAT) devices or sensors used with the manipulator.
