This course develops and understanding of the types of PLC communications found in automated systems. Local and remote I/O are examined with the options available with the Siemens family of products. Interfacing with HMIs (Human-Machine Interface) is also developed and applied in this course. Graphical displays are constructed in lab to demonstrate the typical interfaces found on current applications.
