Upon successful completion on this course, the student should be able to: 1. Describe how mechanical safety relates to maintenance work. 2. Compute the correct replacement flexible belt length. 3. Identify common types and styles of flexible belt drive systems. 4. Select the correct style of replacement roller chain for a specified application*. 5. Identify common types and styles of chain drive systems.
