Serves as one of three capstone courses for the Welding Technology program. Provides the required assessment of knowledge and skills for students in their last semester of course work. Emphasizes critical thinking aspects of the components used in a one off project, the quality control aspect of the project, and the final assembly of the fabrication project.
Goals, Topics, and Objectives
- Quality Control.
- Final Assembly.
- Prepare components to be used on the final project.
- Examine and assess any flaws that need to be addressed before final assembly.
- Construct the fabricated parts and components to produce a final product.
Assessment and Requirements
Assessment of academic achievement may include (but is not limited to) exams, quizzes, homework, and laboratory assignments.
Texts, handouts, and/or workbooks will be determined by the Welding Technology department faculty.
