An introductory-level course that examines cloud, server and networking concepts. Covers on-premise Windows Server management and Azure Cloud integration in a Hybrid Cloud environment. Course helps students prepare for Microsoft Administrating Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure industry certification.

Goals, Topics, and Objectives

Core Course Topics
  1. On-Premise Windows Server Installation and Configuration
    • Install and configure on-premise Windows Server Operating System.
  2. Cloud and Azure
    • Create and deploy Cloud resources in Azure.
  3. IP Address Management
    • Configure IP Addresses, Domain Name Services and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol services.
  4. Azure and On-Premise Active Directory
    • Install and configure both Azure and on-premise Active Directory services.
  5. Manage Servers in Hybrid Environment
    • Manage both cloud and on-premise servers.
  6. Azure and On-Premise Storage and File Services
    • Configure and manage both Azure and on-premise storage and file services.
  7. Virtualization and Containers
    • Create, deploy and manage server virtualization in both Azure and on-premise servers.
  8. On-Premise and Hybrid Network Connectivity
    • Establish and manage network connectivity between on-premise and Azure cloud resources.
