Catalog Course Description

Covers treatment of convicted law violators by correctional field services before and after prison, analysis of the role of probation and parole officers, and evaluation of community resources applied to the correctional task.

Assessment and Requirements

Assessment of Academic Achievement

Students will be given several multiple choice, true/false, and short answer essays. Passing grade must be at least 70%. Students must also perform a short oral presentation to the class on a self-directed topic of interest pertaining to Probation or Parole.
