Covers United States immigration law and procedure. Examines post 9/11 immigration policies and laws relating to visas for students and employees, pathways to citizenship, and inadmissibility and removal.

    • Explain the laws and policies of immigration law.
    • Perform computer-related research.
  2. Student and Employee Visas
    • Discuss the laws and issues affecting student and employment visas.
  3. Green Cards
    • Dicsuss the laws and issues surrounding the immigration of relatives and the acquisition of green cards.
  4. Pathways to Citizenship
    • Describe the laws and issues surrounding pathways to citizenship.
    • Describe the laws and issues surrounding refugees and people seeking asylum.
    • Prepare immigration documents.
  5. Inadmissibility and Removal
    • Discuss the laws and issues surrounding inadmissibility and removal.
