Prepares individuals to become a Nurse Aide. This course serves as the educational foundation for the Nursing Care Skills certificate. Aides render care to clients in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and in home-care. This course, and the Nursing Care Skills certificate, consists of 35 hours of course work in theory, 45 hours of laboratory activities, and 20 hours in a clinical agency. The course requires consistent attendance from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. four days a week.
