Catalog Course Description

Explains the operation of SCR solid state truck controls to industrial truck apprentices. Reviews electrical theory, DC generators and motors, batteries and battery chargers, silicon controlled rectifier theory, SCR truck control operation, and troubleshooting techniques.

Assessment and Requirements

Assessment of Academic Achievement
  1. Tests will be given throughout the semester.  Tests represent 65% of the course grade.
  2. A mid-term exam will be given which will represent 10% of the course grade.
  3. A final exam will be given which will represent 25% of the course grade
