Catalog Course Description

Explores advanced techniques in areas of experimental theatre production, including but not limited to, use of various space types, improvisation in public performance, audience participation, absurdism, expressionism, surrealism, epic, forum, unusual interpretations of classical period or modern texts, and the use of electronic and digital media to unify a production.

    Analyze advanced experimental dramatic literature and production styles.

  2. Experimental Theatre Staging Techniques.

    Practice advanced experimental performance and staging techniques based on master theorists.

    Practice technical production skills appropriate to advanced experimental theatre.

  4. Experimental Theatre Performance Techniques.

    Apply ensemble performance skills appropriate to advanced experimental theatre.
