Introduces actors to a variety of film acting techniques.

  4. Sight Reading.
  5. The Repetition Exercise.
  6. Evaulating Film Acting Perfrormances.

  • Evaluate the quality of film acting performances.*
  • Recognize the qualitative and quantitative differences between stage and film acting.*
  • Demonstrate how to relate to another actor as a real human being, not a preconceived “character."
  • Apply sight reading skills to film scripts.*
  • Apply the theories of Sanford Meisner to film acting.
  • Apply traditional acting methods to film acting.
  • Execute listening and reacting skills in film performance.
  • Demonstrate how to properly audition for film roles.
