Course Description
Focuses on the clinical application of lactation concepts to breastfeeding mothers. Select experiences in health care facilities enable students to assess, develop, implement and evaluate the care of the breastfeeding dyad. The course requires 200 hours in the health care setting. This is consistent with Pathway 2 according to International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).
