Course Description

Explains the operating of vehicle communication networks. Emphasis in vehicle network faults (CAN+, CAN-, shorts, opens and other circuit faults) and their diagnosis and repair. Perform vehicle module programming using different vehicle software and interfaces. Explains vehicle network security protocols and vehicle hacking protection. Also, examines autonomous over-the-air vehicle communications and updating.
