Course Description
An advanced hands-on course for students interested in developing laboratory skills. Focuses on the structure and function of nucleic acids along with chemical and physical techniques commonly used when working with these molecules. Also emphasizes the principles and applications of modern biochemical analyses used in biotechnology and related genomic fields. Course satisfies the requirements of the Biotechnology program; a C grade or better is required to satisfy the requirements of the Biotechnology program. Seven hours of integrated lecture and laboratory per week.
