Course Description

A non-mathematical introduction to the basic concepts of atomic energy. Designed to help the non-scientific student enjoy and appreciate current trends in science, nuclear reactions, and atomic energy. Emphasis is on historical and philosophical contexts. Effort is made to place concepts in their relation to prevalent world thinking. Two hours of lecture per week.
