Description

Prepares students for an entry-level position as a software developer or software engineer. Students develop a marketable skill-set in designing, programming, and testing software, web, and mobile applications using the latest technologies, including Java, C++, C#, PHP, and SQL. The Advanced Computer Programming certificate consists of six courses designed to be completed within one year. Coursework also assists students in preparing for numerous industry certification exams. Software development is consistently ranked as the among the best careers in the country with regional economic data indicating a 20 to 1 ratio of job openings to IT graduates.
