Provides students with the opportunity to Inspect, replace, repair and test cutting tools to prepare them for automatic operation.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to:

  1. Inspect, replace, repair and test cutting tools to prepare them for automatic operation.
  2. Identify grinding wheel characteristics and recommend proper wheel for task
  3. Perform tool grinding operations safely
  4. Differentiate between common tool grinding equipment in industry
