Program Description

Description

Covers a wide range of topics within the cloud, networking and system administration fields. Cloud computing in the Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud environments are covered. Cisco CCNA courses cover the setup and configuration of switches, routers, VLAN’s, VPN’s, and WANs. Cloud and hybrid cloud security; server operating system administration (e.g., installation, configuration, user account creation, file system security, DNS, DHCP, network printing, performance monitoring) in Microsoft Azure, Hybrid Windows Server and Unix/Linux; and computer hardware and operating system troubleshooting are covered in depth. Students will be prepared for a variety of industry certification exams and career pathways.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts used in Public Clouds.
  2. Install, maintain, secure and administer Azure Cloud resources and Windows Server operating system in a Hybrid Cloud environment.
  3. Install, maintain, secure and administer the Unix/Linux operating system.
  4. Install, configure, secure and troubleshoot network devices.
  5. Develop the programming logic required for system scripts.
  6. Design, implement, secure and document a comprehensive Hybrid Cloud environment.
