Payment must be made by the due date listed in the Enrollment Services calendar in order to ensure the student's enrollment in registered classes. HFC accepts cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover for tuition and fee payments. Company vouchers are required for Sponsor Billing. Please bring these vouchers to the Office of Student Accounts. Checks returned to HFC will result in a charge of $25 for each check returned and may result in the student being dropped from classes.
Tuition and fees are subject to change, without notice, by action of the Board of Trustees.
Please know that HFC does reserve the right to make changes at any time.
Previous balances must be paid in full before registering for the new semester. Tuition and fees for the new semester are due by the dates listed in the Enrollment Services Calendar.
Students have three payment options:
Past Due Account Balances are subject to collection fee charges and credit bureau reporting. Collection fee charges are 20 percent of the past due account balance. These charges are used to pay the collection agency who will collect the debt. In addition, students with past due account balances will not be eligible for future registration.
Residency regulations outline the requirements for qualifying as a Dearborn Public Schools District student for tuition purposes. Residency must be validated each semester.
Residents of the Dearborn Public Schools District who meet course pre-requisites and who are age 60 and older are eligible to take credit courses at HFC tuition-free. Senior citizens must pay uniform fees and specified course fees.
Interested individuals should contact the Welcome Center to express their interest in the program. They will be required to bring in official documentation that validates that they are a resident of the Dearborn Public Schools District in accordance with our residency regulations, and validate proof of age with a valid driver’s license or birth certificate.
