Catalog Course Description

Provides special study in the area of studio art organized by discipline or other criteria. Specific topics and any prerequisites are listed in the current semesters class schedule or may be obtained through the departmental office. This class meets for six (6) hours a week.

Goals, Topics, and Objectives

Goal Statement

Students will be engaged in a focused appraisal of specific topics not touched on or only lightly covered in other studio classes. This approach will allow students the opportunity for special, in-depth study rather than an overview of subject matter.

Core Course Topics
  1. Upon the selection of a given course topic, a course syllabus will be developed to include all the facets of a normal course master including Topics, Learning Outcomes, and Assessment.
Core Course Learning Objectives (Separated)

Upon the selection of a given course topic, a course syllabus will be developed to include Core Course Topics and Course Learning Objectives . The course syllabus will be reviewed by art faculty, and upon approval, submitted to Department of Fine and Performing Arts and the School of Liberal Arts ILT for information purposes.
