Catalog Course Description
Examines the basic recovery procedures needed to interpret robot error codes and perform a safe recovery start-up procedure on robotics equipment.

Goal Statement
To provide students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Error Codes and Troubleshooting, utilizing digital learning materials and hands-on labs.

Core Course Learning Objectives (Separated)
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. Implement all steps necessary to recover from a faulted condition using the robot controller maintenance manual and given an alarm fault.
2. Recover from a fault condition including fuses and circuit boards using robot controller maintenance manual and a list of error codes.*
3. Draw a flow chart illustrating the sequence of actions to place the system into Automatic Mode recovering from a safety signal.
4. Demonstrate all required safety practices when working with a robot in both simulator mode and active production cell environments.
