This capstone course for the welding technology program emphasizes the critical thinking aspects of developing, designing, and planning a fabrication project.
Goals, Topics, and Objectives
- Materials and costs.
- Devise a product to be produced in the welding lab.
- Design the product to be made.
- Formulate a plan to be used to move this product to the fabrication stage.
- Determine materials used and material costs for the project.
Assessment and Requirements
Assessment of academic achievement may include (but is not limited to) exams, quizzes, homework, and laboratory assignments.
Texts, handouts, and/or workbooks will be determined by the Welding Technology department faculty.
