Examines the fundamental, intermediate, and advanced skills of bowling with a comprehensive discussion and implementation of the rules, etiquette, and terminology of the game.
Goals, Topics, and Objectives
Goal Statement
HPEA Bowling I is a sequential course designed to teach beginner and intermediate skills of bowling. The student will be given an opportunity to raise his/her average through skill analysis, refinement, and concentrated practice.

- History and development of bowling.
- Refinement of basic and intermediate skills, delivery, footwork, and release.
- Scoring (keeping marks, averages, and handicapping).
- Class tournaments and games.
- Proper bowling etiquette.
- Components of fitness and evaluation.
