Provides instruction in the fundamental skills of tennis, including proper grips, ground strokes, volleys, and serves.  Stresses rules, terminology, scoring, and etiquette.

Goal Statement

HPEA 109 is a sequential course designed to teach beginner and intermediate skills of tennis, covering historic highlights and exposure to game strategy.

  3. Tournament play and games.
  4. Scoring for game, set, and match.
