Offers instruction in the fundamental, intermediate, and advanced skills of golf, including proper use of woods, irons, putting, and specialty shots. Covers rules, terminology, and etiquette.
Goals, Topics, and Objectives
Goal Statement
To teach fundamental, intermediate, and advanced skills of golf. The student will participate in numerous drills designed to improve skill and technique.

- Terminology and safety.
- Golf rules.
- Golf skills and refinement of strokes.
- Strategy (tee shots, fairway shots, and putting).
- Trouble shots (downhill lies, uphill lies).
- Practice sessions.
- Playing in competition (the match, simplified handicap, Callaway system, match play, stroke play, novelty competition).
- Components of fitness and evaluation.
- Importance of lifetime sports skills.
