Introduces basic principles, skills, and terminology of mechanical transmissions. Uses LABVOLT simulator to demonstrate hands-on methods through a project-based approach. The purpose of this course is to explore various fundamental techniques of mechanical transmissions that are similar to industry method of operations.

- Using LABVOLT Simulator, demonstrate how to set up a motor – connect sprockets with chain or belt drive and align or set tension.
