Catalog Course Description
Covers the principles of motion capture performance and motion capture production for use in virtual theatricality, motion pictures, gaming, and motion studies.
Goals, Topics, and Objectives

Core Course Learning Objectives (Separated)
- Conduct Motion Capture sessions of multiple speaking characters using body, face, hands, and props.
- Demonstrate how to successfully map all captured data to characters in MotionBuilder.
- lllustrate how to clean and edit data.
- Develop and deliver a final product that is a complete dramatic entity.*
- Demonstrate dramatic and story-telling elements through Motion Capture.
- Demonstrate how to work effectively and cooperatively with a wide variety of artists and media personnel including directors, 3-D modelers, engineers, actors, and producers.
- Plan and complete an entire Motion Capture project from previsualization to final product.
