Anatomy and Physiology I
Course Description
Lectures cover the principles and underlying concepts of chemistry, cell biology, histology, the integumentary system, articulations, the skeletal system, the muscular system, and the nervous system. Lab reinforces understanding of the associated anatomic structures. BIO-233 and BIO-234 are a two-semester sequence designed for the student who plans to pursue a career in a health field. Three hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week.
