Course Description

Further builds reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Modern Standard Arabic, focusing on communication in a cultural context. Students continue to expand their knowledge of vocabulary, pronunciation and grammatical principles in order to comprehend and express everyday ideas in both spoken and written Modern Standard Arabic.

A grade of C or better in ARA-131 or in one year of high school Arabic, or instructor permission (Note: a C- grade is not transferable and is not accepted by some programs at HFC.)
