Course Description
Provides the necessary mechanics background for engineering technology programs. Main topics are forces, moments, equilibrium, free body diagrams, trusses, frames, internal forces, friction, and area moment of inertia.

Student should achieve a score of 70% or higher in the departmental exam to receive credits for this course.
