Eligible to take ENG 131 at HFC. MCA-157 (to be taken in advance or in the 1st 8 weeks of the corresponding semester). As some components of this course are computer-based, knowledge of basic computer operation is necessary.

Course Description

This course introduces the fundamental concepts and skills of film and video production, covering the entire production process from planning to editing. Emphasis is placed on key equipment and essential techniques, with an exploration of the unique aspects of different media formats. Students will complete individual and group projects, working both in the studio and on location to gain hands-on experience.
