Description

This certificate program prepares students for an entry-level position as an Industrial Sewist.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate proficiency of simple and complex seams and corners
  2. Perform complex operations, bundling, controlling challenging textiles and serging.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency sewing with knits, mastering the coverstitch machine, become familiar with the uses of automatic machines
