Description

Prepares students for an entry-level position or entrepreneurial venture as a mobile application (app) developer. Students develop a marketable skill-set in designing, programming, testing and marketing mobile applications using the latest technologies, such as Kotlin and Swift. The Mobile App Development certificate consists of five courses designed to be completed within one year. Software and mobile development are consistently ranked as the among the best careers in the country with regional economic data indicating a 20 to 1 ratio of job openings to IT graduates.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to:

  1. Design and develop software programs using object-oriented languages
  2. Design and develop mobile applications
