Course Description

Develops a higher level of knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) for the frontline worker and supervisors in SCM. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to demonstrate competency in the following areas: Product Receiving, Product Storage, Order Processing, Packaging and Shipment, Inventory Control, Safe Handling of Hazardous Materials, Evaluation of Transportation Modes, Dispatch and Tracking Operations, and Measurements and Conversion.

NOTE: Course topics help individuals prepare for the Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) examination (after successfully completing the CLA course). The CLT exam is not included in this course.
