Course Description
Focuses on the clinical application of lactation concepts to breastfeeding mothers. Select experiences in health care facilities enable students to assess, develop, implement and evaluate the care of the breastfeeding dyad. The course requires 150 hours in the health care setting and is designed for those with prior lactation teaching experience. This course is the second part of the pathway 2 practicum, following AH-190.
