Course Description

Studies ASL interpreting at the advanced level in specialized settings and situations. Students will gain knowledge of terminology and signs unique to legal, medical (mental and physical), and other situations. Practice and performance of the vocabulary used in these settings is designed to increase students’ comfort and skills for interpreting in unique circumstances.

Pre-requisites
ASL-242 with a C grade or better, or Instructor Permission. May be taken concurrently with ASL-232 or ASL-244.
