Course Description
Further builds reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Mandarin Chinese, focusing on communication in a cultural context. Students continue to expand their knowledge of vocabulary, pronunciation and grammatical principles in order to comprehend and express everyday ideas in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese.
Pre-requisites
C grade or better in CHN-131 or in two years of high school Chinese, or Instructor Permission (Note: a C- grade is not transferable and is not accepted by some programs at HFC.)
