Course Description

Cooperative education is a structured method of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. A cooperative education experience, commonly known as a “co-op,” provides academic credit for structured employment experience. Work experience must be directly related to the student’s declared major to be eligible. For this co-op position students will work in social services agencies, behavior health care, hospitals, private homes, centers, etc.
NOTE: Permission and hiring forms required from Program Director, Career Services Officer, and/or Job Developer in the Office of Career Services. Students must pass a criminal background check.

Pre-requisites
AH-100, PSY-152, HHS-110, EDU 295 all with a C grade or higher. Permission of instructor.
Co-requisites
HHS-215
