Course Description

A support course for students taking certain sections of MATH-110: Intermediate Algebra. Intended to provide needed just-in-time mathematical support to qualified students placed into MATH-080: Beginning Algebra so that the students can complete MATH-110 successfully without taking MATH-080. Topics covered in this course include solving linear equations and inequalities, graphs of linear equations, simplifying expressions using laws of integer exponents and simplifying polynomial expressions.

Pre-requisites
A satisfactory score on the Math placement test, a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher, and less than 2 years since the successful completion of the last math class OR completion of a math class at a college with a B- or better grade in the last 2 years.
