Course Description
For students involved in a curriculum for elementary teachers. Topics include the rational numbers, the integers, the real numbers, algebra, and topics from geometry. May utilize computer software to develop geometry content. Addresses concept development, communication skills, both oral and written, and problem solving skills in accordance with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Standards.
Pre-requisites
MATH-121 and ENG-131, both with a C or better
