Course Description

A credit for prior college-level learning test on the fundamentals of computer technology and information management. Successfully passing CLT-101 provides credit for CIS-100 and satisfies HFC's General Education Computer Technology requirement. Note: Before deciding to take CLT-101, a student is responsible for checking their program to see what computer-related course(s) must be taken to meet specific program requirements.

The CLT-101 test is an approximately 120 question test that is taken on a computer, in a proctored environment. The questions consist of multiple choice, true/false, matching and performance-based scenario questions. Students must achieve an 80% overall on the test to receive a passing score. Students who do not pass are allowed only one exam retake at least 4 months later.
