Course Description

Explores the fundamental principles of contract law. Covers the elements of contract formation and breach under common law and Article II of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). Presents fundamentals of contract drafting. Discusses the laws of secured transactions under Article IX of the UCC, Bankruptcy Laws, and the laws and practices of collecting debt upon default.

ENG-131 with a C grade or better, or Instructor permission
