Catalog Course Description
Explores mental health theories used when working with clients and provides the students with the opportunity to practice these theories in a simulated environment. The course will focus on group dynamics as used in the treatment modalities of the mental health fields, education, and social work fields.

- Counseling group dynamics theories
- Explain the various types of group dynamics theories.
- Explain the ethical and professional guidelines for group leaders.
- Counseling group dynamics techniques
- Apply the various types of group dynamics techniques.
- Co-lead a group therapy model in class.
