Anatomy and Physiology II
Course Description
Lectures cover the principles and underlying concepts of special senses, the endocrine system, the circulatory system, the lymphatic system, immunity, the respiratory system, and the digestive system, metabolism and energetics, the urinary system, fluid, electrolyte and acid/base balance, and the reproductive systems. Lab reinforces understanding of the associated anatomic structures. BIO-233 and BIO-234 are a two-semester sequence designed for the student who plans to pursue a career in a health field. Three hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week.
