Wellness Degree Requirements

In addition to General Education, HFC requires students pursuing an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in General Studies (AGS) degree to complete at least one wellness course. The courses, given below, are designed to produce graduates that meet the following outcome:

Students will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to establish a positive pattern of life-long wellness choices.

Many programs have required courses that fulfill the wellness requirement. However, some programs give students the choice to select their preference. Students should check their program of study prior to selecting any classes, and are encouraged to work with HFC's Academic Advisors or Counselors to create an educational plan.
